Intel's human digital billboard
"Party is behind this new project for Intel Asia, to promote the brand's Ultrabook laptop. In order to demonstrate the Ultrabook's "thinness and responsiveness", the agency choreographed 60 people with Ultrabooks to create a flash-mob human digital billboard, otherwise known as the 'Ultrabook pop-up theatre'..."
So cool!

Dreaming
Dreaming of places I've been and places I places I want to go...
Image 5 takes me back to my 17th birthday while living in Venezuela my parents told me to 'pack a bikini'. We arrived at a small local airport in Puerto La Cruz where there was a small 6 seater plane. Just us and the pilot we got on the plane, and started the journey where at this point I still didnt know where I was going...most disconcerting. 40minutes or so later we touched down on La Tortuga (named because the island looks like a turtle from the sky). The runway on La Tortuga consisted of a sandy stretch with shells lining the edge. This was the closest to a deserted island I have ever been, there was only a few huts on the whole island and most people get there by boat. We stayed in a small posada (the only one on the island) with sandy floors. The rest of the weekend was spent drinking beer, sunbathing and swimming in the crystal clear and bright turquoise ocean, one of the most beautiful and relaxing birthdays (minus 21st when we went to deserted island no. 2).

Oh yes and we saw a plane crash into the ocean...much like image 5.

Yayoi Kusama
Date: Saturday 18th February 2012
Agenda: Drag Rachel to the Yayio Kusama exhibiton at the Tate Modern.
Going to this exhibition at the Tate Modern is on my to do list, looks like something out of Avatar and I like the way you are walking through something which looks so magical and out of this world. Will keep you posted on how it goes. Hope it lives up to my expectations...

Diamond Jubilee
Today marks the 60th anniversary of the Queen's accession to the throne. I'm a big fan of the Queen, her dedication is staggering. These are some pictures I found a while back, I love how relaxed and care free she looks. Go Queenie!
The Gunn Report 2011 Results
The 2011 Gunn Report is out and here are two of my personal favourites. Maybe its because its a Monday morning and it was an exhausting weekend but the T-Mobile ad, just made me well up. It really pulls at your heartstrings and shows a sense of togetherness :)

There is a lot of stuff going on at the moment and it sometimes feels a little overwhelming. I like this installation piece by Candy Chang, its a reminder to stay positive and remember the good things in life. People can be weighed down by work, personal issues etc but above all this is good to remember whats good in your life.
