Home on the range

I think it was probably the 3 years I  living in Texas going to Rodeos, ranches, horse riding, visiting Bandera the cowboy capital of the world and that famous southern hospitality but I love old western movies.The man who shot Liberty Valance, Red River, Butch Cassidy and the sundance kid, Last of the Mohicans, True Grit, The Westerner and one of my favourites Calamity Jane (a musical and a western, what more could you want!) I have found a list of the 100 best western movies and I am going to start making my way through them. Here is something to get you in the mood....

Charlotte Cory

It was the Queen's Jubilee at the weekend and it was a cracking weekend all round. BBQs, pub sessions, parties, dancing, Pimms, street parties and a trip to Buckingham Palace. So keeping up with the Jubilee theme this work by Charlotte Cory is apparantly favoured by the Queen and her Majesty even has a few hanging at Windsor Palace. Love it.

Think Box TV Ad

Love these Thinkbox TV ad's by The Red Brick Road and directed by Andy McLeod of Rattling Stick. Starring Harvey, the ads are designed to show the power of TV advertising and how this affects people's decisions. Show me a talented dog and I would just about buy anything!
