Latest discovery from Creative review. Just read a life changing book...A thousand splendid suns by Khaled Hosseini. It's about the war in Afghanistan but written from the perspectives of two local Afghani women. Truly an incredible read. Not much more I can say apart from...read it.

Clever marketing tool. Rather interesting that Pottermore was launched a couple of weeks before the final film hits the cinema. Coincidence? I think not....interesting way of keeping the hype surrounding Harry Potter...
P.s It didnt need it, I'm excited enough as it is.

The Saatchi Gallery

What a perfect day. Slept in. Met up with Patchy. Ate a patisserie Valerie doughnut. Went to the Saatchi Gallery. Saw Stephen Jones.
Most of the art makes you feel slightly uneasy, pushing boundaries and putting you outside your comfort zone. In particular the room full of oil which took me a good ten minutes to realise I wasn't staring at an empty room (most disconcerting as from then on I wasn't quite sure if what I was looking at was what I was really seeing). It's really hard to explain so all I can say is go and experience it for yourself. Oh and I also met some giants....
