Great ads this November

Two completely different ads but they are both genius in their own right. 'Dumb ways to die' from McCann in Melborne highlights safety around trains. Since its release last Friday, it has become the fastest spreading Australian viral video on YouTube! (I will be dancing like the bean without his kidneys today). The Athlete Machine from Red Bull takes the idea of chain-reaction mechanics to another level. You don't have to be into sports to really appreciate this ad...

UK Music Video Awards 2012

I'm glad to see that MIA's bad girls video was a winner at the UK Video Music awards, although I don't like MIA you can't deny that this is a cracking song and cracking video. See the other winners

Some of my work that I'm most proud of...now I need to take my sewing machine out of the box. It's been too long...

Little Genie Cat Litter Disposal

My favourite ad at the moment, some strangely genius work from JWT New York. Thanks to LBB for pointing this one out.

Kiefer Sutherland and Intel

This new ad by Mother featuring Intel's Acer Aspire S5 Ultrabook seems in all sense of the word vague and at the end of it I was left thinking....I want a cupcake...and to watch 24. But it works! Especially if you are a 24 fan, and the fact that Kiefer obviously doesn't take himself too seriously makes me love it even more...dynamite cupcake anyone??

Radical Face

Some people say they hate advertising. But if it wasn't for the Nikon advert I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't have found Radical Face.

Saying more with less

I haven't been to an exhibition in ages but I went to this last week http://www.creativereview.co.uk/cr-blog/2012/july/mesa-cadeira-anthony-burrill as an old family friend had set it up. I love installations that get you thinking. Great turn out, Boo should be very proud :)

Beautiful song. Without meaning to be too Dawson's Creek about this, amazing song to listen to when your going through a tough time.

Home on the range

I think it was probably the 3 years I  living in Texas going to Rodeos, ranches, horse riding, visiting Bandera the cowboy capital of the world and that famous southern hospitality but I love old western movies. The man who shot Liberty Valance, Red River, Butch Cassidy and the sundance kid, Last of the Mohicans, True Grit, The Westerner and one of my favourites Calamity Jane (a musical and a western, what more could you want!) I have found a list of the 100 best western movies and I am going to start making my way through them. Here is something to get you in the mood....

Belle and Bean

Looking for a good fashion blog to follow? Follow this one : BelleandBean. It's one of my favourites.

Charlotte Cory

It was the Queen's Jubilee at the weekend and it was a cracking weekend all round. BBQs, pub sessions, parties, dancing, Pimms, street parties and a trip to Buckingham Palace. So keeping up with the Jubilee theme this work by Charlotte Cory is apparantly favoured by the Queen and her Majesty even has a few hanging at Windsor Palace. Love it.

Think Box TV Ad

Love these Thinkbox TV ad's by The Red Brick Road and directed by Andy McLeod of Rattling Stick. Starring Harvey, the ads are designed to show the power of TV advertising and how this affects people's decisions. Show me a talented dog and I would just about buy anything!
