The Seven Dwarves

Channel 4's new campaign to promote their new documentary, Seven Dwarves. 20 mini poster sites are across London complete with working lights and a stand alone frame. Marvellous. I like that the pigeons appear to be checking the poster out..Im tempted to check this out myself.

Jeffrey Stockbridge

I was going to go and see this exhibition by Jeffrey Stockbridge this weekend at the Wapping Project, Bankside but the sad fact is I could go and see this for real in Croydon or Clapham or Enfield or Manchester or Birmingham or Tottenham etc etc etc. Still I like the photos and the stories they depict, they bring to light some extremely important issues facing society today.

Trying not to be biased here but loving these ads. Im a big fan of the old school style adverts, they dont always work, but here they portray the effect perfectly...

Awkward timing for new Levi's ad

They might as well call the campaign "big smoke" while they are at it!

'Levi's has released the latest ad in its Go Forth series of spots. The campaign is centred around youthful freedom, usually of the semi-naked-in-nature variety, but this spot also features kids fronting up to riot police, scenes the brand no doubt didn't actually think would be happening when they released the spot...' Creative Review

I like the style of the video but anything that glamourises rioting is just plain wrong if you ask me. The events that have gone on in London and the rest of (not so) Great Britain have affected so many people, its so horrific to watch. Being in London in the last couple of days has been horrible especially when people in our surrounding offices were being evacuated, it really brings it home. Im trying not to make this a rant but its hard not too when you hear some of the comments of the looters, its just plain madness...it is not a protest...its just theft. I have to say at this point in time I think some severe punishment is neccessary...it makes me so angry that these people think that this is about 'respect' well if it is, they have completely lost 100% of the majority of Britain's respect. They are burning down peoples livelihoods, how would like it if the shoe was on the other foot? (a lot of countries cut the hands off theives, maybe the looters should remember this)...perhaps a bit severe but some fear might do them good). I just wish I could help in some way, the clean up efforts and the effort of the police really do put some hope back into society. Keep it up.
